"Space Cowboys Restaurant Group Becomes Second-Largest Donatos Franchisee"

When it comes to realizing one's dreams, Donatos franchise partner Bill Aseere is a great example of how combining hard work and belief can make big things happen.
Aseere, an Independence, Kentucky resident, takes over ownership of 15 Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky area Donatos locations today along with his business partners Mike Ash and Mark Halpin with Space Cowboys Restaurant Group. This makes Aseere and Space Cowboys the second-largest franchise partner group in the Donatos system with 17 total locations as they had previously opened new restaurants in Independence in 2018 and Highland Heights, Kentucky in 2020.

They're "Space Cowboys, bet you weren't ready for that..." and the Independence-based restaurant group are lassoing galactic success throughout Northern Kentucky.
"Yeah, it's unique," Bill Aseere, Space Cowboys Restaurant Group co-founder, said of the name. "We took it from our high school and college intramural team names. We had softball and basketball teams and yeah, that name was inspired by the lyrics of the Steve Miller Band song, 'The Joker.'"
"Donatos Serves Up Pizza In Independence Starting Tuesday"
Independence is getting another piece of the pie - pizza pie.
Donatos is set to open its 14th Kentucky location at 2024 Harris Pike on Tuesday, April 10.
"We are excited to bring Donatos Pizza to Independence," location operator and Independence Councilman Bill Aseere said. "We have been active in the community for a long time and are really proud to start this in our hometown."

This weekend is poised to be fun and a little frightful at the Kenton County Fairgrounds in Independence.
Haunted Fairgrounds, presented by Space Cowboys Restaurant Group, will be held 6pm to midnight on Friday and Saturday, Oct 21-22.
"Halloween is a fun and big event for a lot of people," Bill Aseere, an owner of Space Cowboys, said. "For years there has been nothing big for Halloween in the Kenton County and Independence market. We saw it as an opportunity to bring a family-focused experience."
